Founded by 9 x South African Surfing Champion Roxy Davis, we are renowned not only for the quality of our equipment and coaching, but even more for the overall sense of community. Muizenberg is rated one of the safest beaches to learn to surf, the gentle gradient of the sand bank makes for fantastic soft rolling waves which give the learner surfer plenty of time to get their feet...

I can realy recommend doing this at surf emporium.
Took us through the warmups, to practice on land how to do the popup and weight distribution over the board! Overall very amazing and super helpful/friendly staff!
You can even feel free to ask them questions in the shop and they tend to guide you through the things that you are uncertain about.
I have gone 3 times in total so far, each experience topping the previous one. I 100% recommend them to have you start your surf journey!
