We had an excellent time on this tour. It was a lovely day for a scenic drive to the game reserve, and Mike was an AWESOME guide! Very knowledgeable about the area and the reserve. Saw all the animals we were hoping to see and had so much fun. :)
Great day!

From getting picked up from my hotel, to getting dropped off that afternoon I was looked after the whole day. This experience and Mike as a guide, made for the most amazing day. The game drive was so worth the drive from Cape Town, seeing the animals roaming free in the wild and learning about them from our guide Charlie was so great. If you are thinking about this experience, I highly recommend as it’s a great introductory safari

Great tour guide for Cape Town

Our guide Dave picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel. This package is a comfortable ride to Aquila Game Reserve. About a 2 1/2 hr ride from Cape Town. Tour was booked last minute and after I missed an Email Dave called our hotel to confirm details. On the ride Dave set up private tour option at Aquila. This was a great suggestion and really improved our overall experience. Dave was a great guide made the drive enjoyable. He explained everything and set us up for a great safari ride thru the park.
Highly recommended.
Great time!

This was an amazing experience. We saw Buffalo, antelope, lions, ostrich, rhino, hippo, giraffe, elephants and zebras. We were also able to see some baboons on the drive to the reserve. Tour guide included some fun stops on the way along with some information on the locations we passed. Very fun and I would most certainly do this again.
Brilliant

We had a great safari experience! Special thanks to our tour guide Mike who tried his very best to give us an unforgettable experience with lots of fun. He was very focused on our safety and besides the safari itself, we also loved the little stop over at the winery. We can definitely recommend this tour!
Visit to Aquila Game Reserve

Excellent visit to the game reserve, picked up promptly on time at our hotel. Mike our tour guide us there was very knowledgable about the regions we drove through. You receive a buffett when you arrive and then spend around 2.5 hrs on Safari. The whole day was excellent. Highly recommended.
Our first Safari was amazing!

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Capetown. We really enjoyed the 2 hour safari ride. We saw Lion, Rhino, Elephant, Cape Buffalo, Ostrich, Zebra, Black wildebeest, Hippo, Antelope, Blasbok and Elop. We just didn’t see a Leopard. The trip was well organized and the lunch buffet was hearty and tasty. This is the perfect safari if you don’t have time to visit Krueger National Park. Lastly the transportation company was on time and very friendly and informative. Lori our host gave lots of history on Capetown during our ride there, it was truly an amazing day!
Wonderful trip

I had two lovely gentlemen. They were so nice and informational it was a great experience. Would recommend booking this experience with them. This private ride in his expense car was a great experience.
If you only have one day for a safari try this
Jilly_H, 18-12-2022
Learning loads from Mike and seeing the zebras and elephants and hypos up close
Lions were far away no leopard
Very natural experience only problem was jeep transported number three
Since we were a small group there we4re smaller jeeps available that would have been far better
Overall very good experience. Thanks to Mike!
Nice trip to do and very good guide

A safari in a big zoo, but if You Don’t have the time or money to go to Krüger it’s ok. Our guide Chris was very very good! Informative and very friendly but also experienced.
Day Trip to Aquila

Aquila Safari was nice, but almost zoo-like since the animals are in specific locations and many are fed. It was nice to be able to see the animals up close and take photographs, the kids. Our driver was very nice, however our tour guide was not overly pleasant.
