What To Expect
Cape Town Central
Pick up at your accommodation in Cape Town and set off on a drive-by city tour to see the historical monuments and buildings in the city center. This will afford you a better understanding of the rest of the tour day.

Bo-kaap
Then we will stop in the Bo-Kaap (Cape Malay Quarter) for a photo opportunity with the colorful houses. Your tour guide will explain to you what is the significance of the brightly colored houses in the Bo-Kaap. Please be sure to remain close to your tour guide at all times and keep your belongings with you.

Table Mountain Aerial Cableway
Guided tour at the top of Table Mountain. Your tour guide driver will escort you to the top of the mountain to give you a guided tour. Please take note that this attraction is weather depending.
Please note that Table Mountain cable car tickets are not included in our tour price. Clients are required to purchase their own Table Mountain tickets to prevent delays at the entrance. In this way, you will skip the ticketing queue but there is still a queue during busy periods to board the cable car.

Chapman's Peak Drive
A photo opportunity will be on the program along one of the most scenic drives in the world. Chapman's peak is one of the tourist attractions not to be missed en route to the Cape of Good hope. We will stop at the viewpoint to take these spectacular photos.

Boulders Beach Penguin Colony
Stop for a viewing of the African penguins. For many of our Guests, Boulders beach also known as home to African Penguins is the highlight of this tour. Therefore, we will allow you enough time to discover the main colony. You may even find yourself walking alongside one of these enchanting creatures on the boardwalk.

Cape of Good Hope
From here, we will drive straight to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, where we will explore the Dias and Vasco Da Gama crosses. Cape of Good Hope is where the two ocean currents meet and is the most west southern part of Africa. Cape Point is also known as the meeting place of the cold Benguela and the warm Agulhas currents.

Our guide Mark, seemed to go that extra mile, to give us all the information we needed. His help when I left my wallet back the hotel, I can’t believe I did it, but thank him enough, for paying to get in to a couple of places. On our return I gave him the money owed and a bit extra. Our guide Ruben and driver David were both excellent! Ruben taught our group of 17 so much information about Cape Town and surrounding areas. He also instructed us about safety measures around the baboons and penguins. We arrived at our destinations early to avoid lines and crowds. He helped our group get good photos and we had flexibility with our points of interest.
We liked that he asked if he can discuss sensitive topics such as race, religion, and slavery during our tour. I felt that was important to ask our group.
Ruben is very knowledgeable, and can't wait to book this tour again!
* I suggest wearing comfortable walking shoes with ankle support to visit Table Mountain & Cape Point- Lots of craters & uneven surfaces.

This was a great day of exploring the Cape Town peninsula. My guide Jean was exceptionally knowledgeable and flexible to adjust to the weather imposed changes we had to make to the itinerary. As Table Mountain was closed due to strong winds, we went to Hout Bay instead and took the boat trip to Seal Island.
Jean knows a lot of interesting facts about Cape Town, and we had great conversations throughout the entire day.

Picked up slightly early (great) in a comfortable and clean car. Our driver was very knowledgeable especially about the history of South Africa, and kept us well informed throughout the tour. He was polite, funny and a great host. Only downside was Table Mountain was closed all day, but a wine tour was offered as a substitute for that part. Highly recommended, especially Thomas!

We definitely recommend this tour. Thomas was amazing: knowledgeable, reliable and polite. We learned so much in one day about the area and the history of Cape Town and South Africa.
