Our Skippers will share with you the beauty of the ocean as we well as the beauty of the cape town Atlantic coastline on our unique adventure boats. Watch for whales, African penguins, Cape fur seals, dolphins, basking sharks, sunfish and many species of bird life. Adrenaline plus an eco-tour!

The Waterfront Charters Team are always keen to offer you unique and fun ocean safari experience on the water. Our Skippers will share with you the beauty of the ocean as we well as the beauty of the cape town Atlantic coastline on our unique adventure boats.
On our trips departing from Quay 5 in the Waterfront, you will have a chance to see Cape Fur Seals, Dolphins, Whales, Penguins and Sun Fish and potentially much more as we search the bay for sea life.
We Do do not offer or guarantee a destination as this trip is about time on the water and looking for sea life in the proximity of Cape Town.

• Expeditions are weather dependent
• Trip Includes a short fast ride out of the harbour, followed by a slow search for marine life ad an informative briefing by the skipper.

200 % recommend this. If you're looking for speed in Cape Town. Was incredible feeling and so much fun. Will be returning with mates. Well worth the money. To top it all off we got to see seals, dolphins and a sunfish.

We had the most amazing morning with Marlon and his knowledgeable crew. We were just blown away by the sightings of the five orcas in the bay, the playful seals and the peacefulness of the ocean - just simply amazing! This was worth every single cent and we will definitely send and recommend all our family and guests … WE WILL BE BACK!!

What a great experience with two excellent skippers on a speed boat around the Cape Point. This is definitely for the adrenaline junkies and added bonus was slowing down and drifting next to allot of dolphins. Thanks Guys !
A great final trip to an amazing week

We booked the Ocean Safari online after a very helpful and informative chat with Leslie in their waterfront office. It was just the 2 of on the tour and we hoped to see dolphins (and the seals although the seals are a given!). Thabiet greeted us and explained that it was no whale season but 2 were spotted the day before so we would head to the same place. On the way out,he stopped at one of the seal's hangout spots and gave us some information. We then headed to the spot where the whales had been spotted. Thanks to Thabiet, we were lucky enough to spot a mother and her calf, who actually came up 2m from the boat as it was curious! Such a magical moment. We were very lucky to actually spot a group of 5-7 to who kept popping up and the diving. On our way back, we were lucky to spot a pod of dolphins and Thabiet managed to get them to swim next the boat,playing in the wake. Just amazing. Just before entering the harbour, he stopped so we could get a photo of us in front of the mountains (as there was only the 2 of us on the boat!). An amazing e@experience with a friendly and knowledgeable guide.

We had a really fun time on the ocean safari! Michael & Dylan were knowledgeable and had exceptional customer service. We didn’t get a chance to see all water animals but that’s the nature of observing wildlife without baiting. Thanks guys!
