I can highly recommend this tour: The sights were truly highlights particular to Cape Town, and the gems (a coffee shop, a bakery shop and the Eastern Bazaar) you wouldn’t have seen otherwise but don’t want to miss. I was privileged to be the only one so got a private tour with my guide, Sebastian. I learned a lot about the political and historical background as well as cultural details, which I greatly appreciated. Sebastian is a well of information and doesn’t hesitate to draw from his own life experience; together with his kind, positive attitude and witty humour you are sure to spend a great morning in his company.

Sebastian did a perfect job hosting me on a private tour of Cape Town. He made sure I experienced the city from the eyes of a native local, taking me to places he visited as a child with his family. He enthusiastically offered any sensitive questions about the complex political and social history of South Africa, and we learned things from each other throughout the day. I appreciated how highly Sebastian spoke of Withlocals, as they strongly supported him during COVID, when the hospitality industry was decimated for two years. Looking forward to seeing him again soon, as a half day tour just scratches the surface of things to see.

This would have been a good tour but probably with a guide that knew a little more about the places we visited. Also would suggest making it shorter than 4 hours. Two hours in the castle was too much
