Stellenbosch is home to more than 200 award-winning wine estates whilst Franschhoek is known as the Food and Wine Capital of South Africa. Together, these two scenic wine regions create a unique private wine tour for a lifetime of memories. This private tour is fully customizable. You can choose your own list of 4 wine estates to visit or you can follow our carefully selected itinerary.

The Cape Winelands, in particular, Stellebosch is home to over 200 award-winning wine estates. Therefore, since this is a private customizable tour, we allow travelers to choose their own wine estates for tasting or they can follow our carefully selected itinerary.
A typical itinerary would be as follows:
Begin your day with a pickup from your Cape Town accommodations. Travel along the N2 to your first winery, De Morgenzon.

DeMorgenzon Winery
Arriving at DeMorgenzon, you will taste 3 different delectable wines. DeMorgenzon is renowned for playing classical music to their vines, believing that this enhances the growth of the vines. It is therefore little wonder why DeMorgenzon won an award for producing some of the best Chardonnay in the world.

Stellenbosch
Afterward, take a historical tour of Stellenbosch, which is the second oldest town in South Africa. Stellenbosch is also home to Stellenbosch University which houses more than 27000 students each year.

Marianne Wine Estate
Next, head to the Marianne winery where you will enjoy a wine pairing of 6 wines with Biltong, dried meat similar to beef jerky. Marianne believes that biltong enhances their wine's flavors. Marianne's Floreal wine was hand-picked by Chef Gordon Ramsay for Nelson Mandela's 91st Birthday.

Reagan was the best driver and guide ever! He took us to several lovely wineries and a perfect place for lunch as well. It was a small group, the two of us and one other couple so we got to set our own pace. Everything was perfect, even the weather. Highly recommend this tour company and ask for Mr . Reagan!
A day with the family

The day started really good with REAGAN, our tour guide. He arrived with an excellent timing, and even arrived before 9am. As we entered, he told us not only all of the things that we were going to do, but also some surprises on the way and information about the history of cape town, South Africa and the wine side of ir.
He is a great storyteller, very respectful, kind, good driver and a true friend!
Reagan made us feel very comfortable with the day with him, and like that was a day with the family.
He even helped us with things that we forgot on the car, driving back to return it to us.
We totally advise you to go with Reagan! It will be a great day in south Africa!
Fun wine tasting tour

We had a good wine tasting tour today. Visited two wineries and skipped lunch - instead went to a diamond store for a quick tour of diamond cutting. One of our other tour was cancelled today and Amy from Kabura Travels was extremely helpful and moved our wine tour from Sunday to today. Thank you Amy for your great service and helpfulness.

Very good experience with our nice guide Lucadel. The tasting spots are well chosen, very scenic with good quality wines. We also had time to visit the historic centers of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek.
