If you're in CapeTown and you're a wine and scenic lover you absolutely must take this excursion. Our tour guide was a little late due to traffic situations outside of his control. However, once the tour was underway I found him to be super knowledgeable about wine and the history of the vineyards over several decades. You'll get your fill of tastes on this tour. I had to start turning glasses away by the time we arrived at the fourth winery.
Superb Wine tour

There were 7 of us on this tour from various countries. Our guide Thinus was really good and got us to say a bit about ourselves so we got to know a bit about our fellow tourists. He kept us informed on the journey to the first winery about wines of the Cape and places we were passing.
Each of the different wineries we visited were varied and the wines supplied for tasting were different, some unique to the Cape and not exported.
One of the wineries had 2 ostriches and a springbok we could see and get up close to which was a treat too.
Lunch included on the tour and though the restaurant was very busy the service we received was very good. There were plenty of choices on the menu for all and the food was very good. It was also good that Thinus could eat with us too so we could ask more questions about wine, the country etc.
I would recommend this tour to anyone who loves South African wines and wants to know more about them and try them. What we also liked about this was the very small numbers involved and the more personal touch.

Bruce the tour guide was very good the first 2 wineries on the tour were excellent .would have liked to be taken to at least one of the top wineries in the region as wine lovers.

so great! loved each location, so beautiful, friendly and great wine from all. all I wish is that we bought more from our first two locations. food was great for the lunch and guests on the tour were great too. a great experience!

We loved having this apart of our Cape Town trip! Thinus was amazing & a great guide! He is very knowledgeable. We were able to visit 4 different wineries, each one had a different charm to it! You won’t be disappointed booking this day long excursion!

We had organised this trip back in the UK as we were on a whistle stop stay in Cape Town, only 5 days. We deliberately chose this tour as it was based on only a small number of people, pick up from hotels and visited the wine areas were were interested in.
We were picked up at our hotel as time stated by Tinnus (not sure if this is how it is spelt) who was a great guide. There were only 7 of us in the mini bus and he invited us to each say a bit about ourselves so we got to know each other.
He was very knowledgeable about the different wine areas we were going to visit and the places we passed on our way there.
We visited 4 different vineries and each one were different in size, the wines, locations and whether we could get their wines back at home.
We had a lunch stop at one of these and the food was very good and very large portions too.
At each stop we could purchase wine or other products and had time to wander around the estates which was nice too, very relaxed and not rushed at all.
The whole trip was very good and informative and by the time we were on our way back to our hotels the feeling in the minibus was one of peace, calm and a little bit snoozy after the 16 different wines tasted.
If you are looking to do a wine tour in the Cape then this would be the one to do.

Donovan made this an amazing day with a lot of insights and great wine tastings. We have an amazing group, lots of great conversations and a fantastic lunch. Donovan really loves wine, and you can see his passion while he explains the wines to you and answers any question you might have.
The only thing that would make it better would be a wine tour and have an explanation of the production process a little bit because I was really interested in that.
So much fun and I highly recommend it.

Fabulous day out with our family. Our guide was very informative and helpful. The 4 wineries were all different and very interesting. From pick up to drop off we had a lovely day.
Chill & relaxing thing to do when you're in cape town

It was a beautiful experience for us (me & my husband)! William did a great job! Every couple in Capetown for holiday should consider joining this tour if they want to have some chill and relaxing time but also want to learn South Africa wines in the same time.

Bruce is the owner and was our guide for the day! He is so informative. We enjoyed all of the wineries and the lunch. If you’re looking for a wine tour of South Africa, definitely go with this one! You get all of the tastings and lunch! Many of the others on Viator don’t offer lunch and wine but for the price you get both with Storey. Great experience and an amazing day!

Had a great day, picked up on time by our guide Bruce who was the friendliest and really knowledgeable person. Nothing was too much trouble for Bruce and he took us to some fantastic wineries and we had a great lunch as well. Overall I would thoroughly recommend this tour plus it was good value for money.

Fantastic trip with our guide Bruce. We got to sample amazing wines, view the awesome scenery and have a delicious lunch. Our guide Bruce was so knowledgeable and helpful his passion for the wine culture of the area was really impressive and was certainly a great addition to a truly memorable experience. All together a fabulous tour I would highly recommend.
