There is no better way to experience the False Bay coastline other than on a morning sea kayaking experience. During the whale season from July to December, the Southern Right Whale frequents Cape Town's shores which allows you the possibility of seeing them in their natural habitat. The Cape of Good Hope functioned as something of a beacon for sailors for years and is still widely referred to as ‘The Cape’ by sea farers. Most visitors to Cape Town regard a trip to the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point (the tip of the Cape Peninsula) as obligatory. This part of the park is home to an array of fynbos, over 250 species of birds, buck, baboons and Cape mountain zebra. There are numerous paths on which one can set off on foot, and tidal pools on almost isolated beaches. Enjoy the breath-taking views from Cape Point Lighthouse and travel to the most South-Western point of Africa, the Cape of Good Hope.
In the late afternoon, drive along the coastal route via Noordhoek, Chapman’s Peak Drive, Hout Bay and the Atlantic Seaboard back to your city based hotel.

I cannot stress enough how spectacular of a tour this was. Due to a misunderstanding in scheduling, we were meant to meet our guide, Shadley, earlier than we anticipated (by the tune of 90 minutes). Shadley had waited for us the entire time outside our Airbnb, completely unbeknownst to us. I am still incredibly embarrassed we never realized it, but he was picture perfect professionalism the whole time and quickly gave a run down of how we can still capitalize on our tour. While I could talk about the tour itself and how great is was that he was able to give us a part of cape town we wouldn't have gotten on our own, the real part of the tour, what I personally travel for, was the company. Shadley is by far the best tour guide I've ever had - he never felt like a guide, he felt like a new friend taking me to places they enjoy. I couldn't even tell you how long the tour was, because I don't remember driving. Our conversations were long, thoughtful, and engaging.
